Utensils

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in the saucepan.
  2. Add the thicker Chapagetti noodles and boil for about 1 minute.
  3. After 1 minute, add the Shin noodles.
  4. After 2 minutes, remove all but about an inch 0r so of the water.
  5. Add the vegetable and seasoning packets.
  6. Simmer and stir for another minute or two.
  7. Add oil and serve.
  8. Add Main Seasoning: Add the spicy and sweet main seasoning packet [02:17]. The chef uses the entire packet for a spicy and sweet flavor, noting that some people may only use half if they prefer less spice [02:25].
  9. Drain the Water: After about 2 minutes of cooking, when the noodles are cooked al dente, drain the water, but only remove about half [02:45].
  10. Simmer to Finish: Add the rest of the seasoning packets (if any remain) into the remaining water and boil the noodles together. Continue cooking until the noodles absorb all the liquid and the mixture becomes dry [03:09].
  11. Add Oil: Finally, add olive oil to the finished noodles [03:46].
  12. Prepare the Egg: Fry an egg without adding any salt, as the ramen seasoning is already very strong [04:19].
  13. Serve: Transfer the ramen to a bowl, top it with the fried egg, and garnish with a little bit of sesame seeds [04:29].
