Root Beer Syrup
Ingredients

20mL Cook's root beer extract

200g sugar

60g honey

140mL water
Utensils
- Small saucepan
- Spoon for stirring
- Kitchen scale
- Trivet
- 10mL measuring syringe
- 350mL syrup container
Instructions
- Make simple syrup from the sugar and water.
- Add the honey. Place the trivet on the scale first so yas don't melt it.
- Add the root beer extract.
- Use the syringe. That shit is messy.
- Move the syrup to the syrup container, adding water until it reaches the target yield of 426g.
- Store under refrigeration.
Serving suggestion
Mix 70g of syrup with fizzy water in a 500mL bottle, 105g to a 750mL bottle, or 140g to a 1L bottle.
Should make 3L total.
