Picked red onions
Ingredients
- 200g red onion (about half of a whole one)
- ½ cups vinegar
- White distilled or apple cider or a mix
- ½ cups water
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 2 tsp sugar
Utensils
- Cutting board & knife
- Pint Mason jar
- Small saucepan
- ½ cups measuring cup
- 1 tsp spoon
Instructions
- Heat the vinegar, water, salt, and sugar and stir until the solids dissolve.
- Cut dem onions and put in the jar.
It should come up basically to the top.
- Pour the solution in the jar and seal.
- Let cool and then put it in the fridge for a few hours or whatever.
- Use in other foods.
