300g Mr. Kon’s Asian Noodles

275g (a little less than a bowl full) of Kirkland stir-fry vegetable blend
-
3 tbsp salted butter
-
30g (5-6 cloves?) skinned garlic
-
140g stir fry sauce
- Or 100mL Yoshida’s
Utensils

- Lid for skillet
- Pot for boiling noodles
- ÂĽ steam pan
- Stir fry spatula
- Serving fork
- Garlic press
- Scale
Instructions
- Thaw and fry quorn by heating covered for a few minutes, then adding oil and frying until browned. Set aside.
- Thaw/steam vegetables by adding then to the hot skillet with, about 2 minutes.
- Fry vegetables using the same method, but adding ~30mL water initially and adding salt and pepper during the fry. Set aside.
- Cook noodles. About 5 minutes boiling.
- Melt butter on the skillet at 300°F. Toss in the garlic, followed like 20 seconds later by the noodles.
- Saute them together for a while. Get that good garlic flavor in there. The noodles should get a little crispy and not stick to the skillet.
- Add vegetables and meat back in.
- Reduce heat.
- Add sauce.
- Serve.
Kitchen Scale
Digital scale that reads grams. Weighing beats measuring for anything dry — flour especially, where a packed cup and a loose one differ by a lot.
